Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Regor ("we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar browser storage on regor.ai and within the Regor application. We use only what is needed to operate the product. We do not load third-party advertising cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
2. What cookies and storage are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use related browser technologies, including localStorage and sessionStorage, which keep small amounts of data in your browser rather than sending it on every request. We refer to all of these together as "storage" below.
3. How we use storage
Strictly necessary
- Authentication. A session token (for example
regor_token) keeps you signed in. It is set as HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax so it is not readable by page scripts. - Session state. Limited account context (such as your signed-in email and plan) is held in sessionStorage so the dashboard renders correctly. It is cleared when you sign out or close the tab.
Product analytics
- Visitor identifier. On a connected merchant storefront, the Regor snippet stores an anonymous
visitor_idin localStorage so search and click events can be measured and attributed. It contains no name, email, or payment data, and IP addresses are hashed before storage.
4. What we do not use
- No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies
- No cross-site tracking or data brokers
- No sale of data collected through cookies or storage
5. Managing storage
You can clear or block cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Because authentication and session storage are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in and using the dashboard. Clearing the anonymous visitor_id on a storefront has no effect on the shopper experience.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
